    Please make sure clothing and linen donations are clean and in impeccable condition.  Spring/Summer Clothing is accepted from March 1 to August 31.  Accepted items: Men’s, Women’s and Children’s spring coats short sleeve/long-sleeve tops lighter sweaters/sweatshirts/hoodies pants and capris dresses shorts bathing suits sandals Winter Clothing is accepted from September 1 to February 28. Acceptable Items: Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s winter coats and snow pants (new and used) winter hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves (new and used) winter boots (new and gently used) sweaters, sweatshirts, and hoodies (new and used) T-shirts for men only (new and used) pants (new and used) Items Accepted all year long: Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s shoes purses and backpacks accessories (scarves, belts, jewelry, etc.)  Linens accepted all year long: sheet sets…

  • How do I become a client?

    You need to be a resident of Halton to qualify. New clients of Compassion Society must fill out the registration form that they will be provided to take home with them upon their first visit and bring back with all relevant information needed as directed on the forms. We are unable to do walk-in interviews because we are volunteer geared and will ask for additional information as needed. No Appointments are given over the phone or email and first time clients can only be taken through walk-ins. In the meantime, if you are in need of food, we can provide you with food…
